Garden of Life
Wow, it's been a long time! I have been stitching, and traveling, and doing all the things I'm supposed to chronicle here, but I haven't been posting. Here is my first attempt to correct that trend: a finish. This is a Blackbird Designs Loose Feathers that I get on autoship. I altered the pattern quite a bit, removing the house and moving the bird to a more central location. I like it and am thinking of making it into a decorative pillow . . . hopefully it won't sit for too long in the closet waiting to be finished.

I agree with Katrina I really like the changes. Did you use different colors too?
Stacey, I used the same threads and fabric that are called for. I actually made a xerox copy of the pattern and cut out the bird, then placed it over the house, where I wanted it!
